Paris, Rive Droite...

The last weeks before Christmas are always the busiest of the years for me!
I haven't found the time to write some new blogpost but as I have so many interior stories on stock I decided to make a quick "No Blabla Post"...
So enjoy this little review of my Parisian like tiny flat...
Wishing you a great Christmas time :)

Autumn leaves in Japan...

I always look for new design tools and found yesterday an online room planner!
"Homstyler" is a community planner for everyone who loves to design spaces! It's quite easy to use and it's very cool from the render!
I decided to try to design the living room of my dream and this was much more difficult as expected! I love pretty every kind of Design if the whole concept make sense: the type of room (old, new, city, flat, house...) and the interior!
But what would I really choose if I had to design "my" house! I start first with my (at the moment!) crush color scheme: blue and yellow! I choose a dark blue pattern wallpaper and two mustard armchairs! The result, a more Parisian interior was quite pretty and looks comfy and chic, everything that I love! But I realize that it wasn't really me!
If I should describe my style, it would be a mix of Japanese, French, Art Nouveau and Art Deco love! I redesign the room and don't take care if it would be like by other person! Because I realize that I very often now choose stuff that would be love by everyone! I could call it "The everyone's social media darling syndrome"!!!
But I decided to stop now this bad attitude and voilà: this is my room!
If you like it and inspire you than it makes me really happy and if not than it's alright too ;)

This picture describe me perfectly: a little bit romantic, serious, calm and endless flowers lover...

As you know I often take inspiration from places I was lucky to visit! One of my favorite trip in Japan was during autumn in Takayama! So beautiful...

Hope you enjoy the trip and if you want to see more from autumn leaves pictures in Japan go of "Japan Guide"! My favorite one :)

See You...

Paris in September...

Lucky me!

I had the opportunity 3 weeks ago to spend some time in Paris! And it was just... so dreamy!
The weather was wonderful and I've just walked all day long in the street of my favorite city, looked for some inspirations and new brands for my business, made a little bit shopping at my favorite place "Le Bon Marché" and gone from one coffee break to the other one! I told you... a dream :)

And all this inspirations and good vibes were very welcome for my last home project!
A tiny flat in Parisian style....

To the project:

⇸ A small 2 bedroom city flat...
⇸ The owner needs a real study room or place as she's a teacher and work a lot from home...
⇸ The bedroom is too small for a wardrobe, so every place in the living/kitchen area is welcome for storage...
⇸ The owner love to cook: a full equipped kitchen is on top of her wish list and as well a big table to be able to receive some friends...
⇸ She would like a cosy/warm but still chic interior and she's just like me a fan of Parisian home style :)

Et voilà... my proposal...

. The wall behind the sofa is unfortunately not wide enough so I design a bookshelf to create an extension. A wood panel will cover the bookshelf and a part of the wall in order to have a nice contrast behind the sofa.
. I also placed the pictures in the corner to give the impression that the room is a little bit bigger!
. A round table is more comfortable in a small space (trust me I've made the experience: every furnitures corner can be dangerous in a tiny flat :) and it can be place in the middle of the room if someone comes for dinner...
. The highlight for me is the wallpaper! My intention was to give as much as possible the feeling you are in a big and light full flat!

Planned the kitchen with the help of the Ikea Kitchen planner and just insert some decorations stuff...

Now let us take a little coffee to go and walk around beautiful Paris :)

"Café Kitsuné" at the garden of the "Palais Royal" my favorite place to hang on in Paris ;)

"Pierre Frey" my big pattern and print crush for textiles and wallpaper...

"Le Bon Marché" my favorite place for shopping!
You can find there all the actual french trends and designers and it's not full of tourist... ;)

 "Les Galeries Lafayette"

Don't forget.. I'm french! I would leave every pasta, cake for this simple cheese and wine meal... ;)

The roof terrace of "Le Printemps". Best place for a cocktail...

Hope you enjoy this little break!

I finally had the opportunity to have a look at the shop of "Le monde Sauvage". They have the most incredible pretty home textiles and I'm in love with all their cushions...
I bought two of them and I can now enjoy my coffee breaks at home with real Parisian flair ;)

See you.. :)

On day in Venice...

Venice is always a good idea!

We've fled the bad weather at Lake Garda during our summer vacation and spontaneously decided for a one day trip to Venice...

This small trip was just sooo... lovely and gave me so much inspiration!
Couldn't resit and already bring some Venice vibes in my last home project :)
