Snowy days in Tokyo...

At the question: does it snow in Tokyo? I get the answer: not really. It could happen but the last heavy snowfall was 50 Years ago... Yes, of course?!

It was clear that because we moved to Tokyo without any winter ski wear in the luggage (preferred to put everything in the Container and saved the precious "small" room in my suitcase) it would be snowing. And not such a kind of small, funny snowfall, no... a big stormy snowfall!!! And seriously how lucky I am that it happened during two weekends???!!!!

Sure it can be beautiful. Streets and landscape shine with snow often in an unusual wonderful way...

For breakfast, one frozen Orange Juice, Please...

Yokohama 14th February. How romantic! Perfect for Valentines Day

Not everybody felt sad about this (for Tokyo) special meteoroligic situation...

So well, I decided to make the best of it and enjoyed the snow and Valentines time with my girls. In Japan it's usual to offer on this occasion a gift to the people we really like, not only the lover. So my daughters became a lot of cookies and chocolate from kindergarten and school friends. I find that it's a wonderful idea!

And after all, I had a good "excuse" to buy some new winter stuff :-)
The best investment this year was definitely a Stetson Hat, an ultralight and slim down Jacket wich can be wear under a coat and for sure city "appropriate" rubber boots. It's just perfect to play with all the different and very fast changing weather condition: monday spring time, thursday London like, wednesday snow time, etc...
