City break and green mood...

Tokyo is a great city if you like visual diversity and cultural mix. It's never boring to have a walk in the different areas of the city. But there comes a moment when a stroll in one of Tokyo's gardens is no longer enough for "take a breath". It's than the sign that you need a break and more green space :)
One of my favorite destination in this case is the city of Hakone at the lake Ashinoko. It's not fare away from Tokyo and you can enjoy if the weather conditions are good, a great view of the mount Fuji.
Need a little breath taking, than follow me...

Lake Ashinoko and the great view of the Mount Fuji

One of the "unexpected" boats offering sightseeing cruises

Hakone is the perfect place for enjoy a walk along the lake and have a nice coffee break with the family...

Sunset over lake Ashinoko, a perfect breath taking moment!

If you are in Hakone you have to stop at Owakudani, an area around a crater created during the last eruption of Mount Hakone, 300 hundred years ago...

Owakudani is still an active volcanic zone with sulfurous fumes...

and natural hot springs

Very popular practice: eggs cooked in the natural hot water...

the shell became black because of the sulfur. By eating on of them you may prolong our life for seven years!

Before leaving, a last walk in the garden of the Detached PalaceIn the past used as a summer residence of the imperial family...

Onshi Hakone Park

Love this view! Definitely have to add more green stuff at home to keep this freshness feeling as long as possible...
